Dojo News >>> 18 January 2026
Training has re-commenced at Orange Dojo and we’re looking forward to another big year – our 24th year of operation! We’re holding two Come and Try Days on Saturday 31st January and the following Saturday (7th February) for anyone interested in joining us on the mat for the first time and experiencing this amazing martial art. Check out the poster for details and please help spread the word.

Aikido is a non-competitive martial art that can be practiced at any age from 7 to 70 and beyond. It has similarities to Judo and Jujitsu in that it is based on throws, pins and locks, rather than kicks and punches. Practicing Aikido has a range of benefits including the development of physical and mental health and wellbeing. Orange Dojo welcomes visitors. See you on the mat!

Where we train:
Our dojo is located in the Uniting Church’s main hall (behind the church) at 217 Anson Street Orange, near the corner of Summer Street.
